Baked Apple Cider Donuts

sugar

brown sugar

1 1/2

all-purpose flour
sifted
▢

teaspoons
baking powder
▢

teaspoon
baking soda
▢
1/2
teaspoon
salt
▢
1/2
teaspoon
nutmeg
▢
3/4
teaspoon
cinnamon
▢
1
teaspoon
vanilla
▢
1/2
cup
vegetable oil
▢
1
large apple
shredded
Apple Cider Glaze
▢
2
tablespoons
apple cider
▢
1
cup
confectioner's sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Lightly grease 2 donut pans.
In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
In another bowl combine the remaining ingredients (except apple) Whisk together. Fold shredded apple in mix.
Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredient bowl.
Divide into donut pans.*
Bake 10-12 minutes.
Invert donuts on a cooling rack.
Whisk together glaze ingredients. Once donuts have cooled dunk each one into glaze.
Notes
*I pour donut batter into large ziploc bag and cut a triangle out of the bottom to easily pipe into pans.
