Apple Cider Margarita

This Apple Cider Margarita will become a favorite seasonal cocktail, and the perfect drink for chilly fall evenings. The combination of tequila, apple cider, triple sec, and cinnamon will warm your soul and make you smile with every sip.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 lime wedge
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar see post for details
  • 2 ounces apple cider NOT apple juice
  • 1 1/2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 thin apple slices

Instructions

  • Run the lime wedge around the rim of your glass. Pour the cinnamon and sugar mixture onto a plate. Dip the glass rim into the cinnamon sugar to completely coat. Fill the glass with ice.
  • Place the apple cider, tequila, lime juice, and triple sec into a shaker filled with ice. Placed the lid on and shake until the drink is well chilled. Pour the mixture into your prepared glass.
  • Garnish with the apple slices and cinnamon stick.
