Living in the city is such a different experience. It’s a love hate relationship right now. I love being so close that on my lunch break I can go home and fix something and play with the dogs. I have been having so much fun making up different paninis lately. Roasted Turkey, Guiness Carmelized Onions & Provolone Cheese and Mozzarella, Pesto & Roma Tomato Sandwich have been repeated this week. But the downside is when I get off work I can’t easily run my few errands my stores are a little bit further than I would hope. All this being said, one gem that John and I found was this little market called Goose. You walk in and it has sandwiches, soups, Gelatto (my sister in law would love this part), as well as meat, cheese, and drinks. We decided to get some dinner there the other night because I didn’t want to travel all the way to the
grocery store. Downstairs was similar to a wine cellar and had picnic tables set up to eat. We got two sandwiches as well as a cheese board & charcuterie board. So much fun! Since we went to eat there last week we have gone there every few days to try out some of their different meats. John has bought rabbit, duck sausage, pork loin, and the list goes on. And of course every time he goes he comes he knows to bring home a different kind of cheese. Almost every kind I have had is decadent.
