Everyone knows I love cheese. I thought about giving it up for
Lent one year- let’s just say I think it lasted for one meal. I have had
stomach problems over the past year and John thought it would be hilarious if I
developed an allergy to it- with that I told him I would have no problem
ignoring this allergy and continue having stomach pains just due to the fact I
am obsessed with cheese. Luckily, the stomach problems are just stress related.
During my wedding planning, I of course had a cheese and cracker station, and
even tried to have a cheese dip fountain instead of a wedding cake (don’t
really care for sweets), don’t worry my mother drew the line there. John and I laugh because both of our mothers
recall us always saying “Cheese Please” all the time. I have even tried to reduce my cheese intake
over the past couple of months but it is one thing that I just cannot do. I
love baked Brie in a croissant, Monterrey Jack and Cheddar in my Baked Mexican Dip, Gruyere in my French Onion Soup, Mozzarella in my Tomato Napoleons, Gouda
in my 3 Cheese Panini, Feta on my Greek Nachos, Velveeta in my Crock Pot Queso Dip, Goat Cheese in my Eggplant and Goat Cheese Sandwiches, Parmesan on any of my pasta dishes,
Blue Cheese on a chopped salad, Gorgonzola on my Heirloom Tomato Salad, Swiss
on my Bacon & Portabello Paninis…As you can tell obsessed would be the
proper word for my love for cheese. What is your favorite cheese? What is your
food obsession?
