We helped host a friend’s shower recently and the bride-to-be’s grandmother came up to me saying that every time she leaves our house she calls her family to tell them what I ate. I keep getting wonderful compliments about my cooking and that I should open up a restaurant. I don’t need to open one up, I already have one. It’s called the Hall House. You come and I’ll feed. The thing that makes me so happy is cooking and sharing my love of food with others and them raving about the food and wanting to learn more and eat more!
Recently we have had a few themed dinner parties…”Southern Night” with fried quail, fried green tomatoes, and succotash, . “Comfort Food Night” with Meatloaf, Country Pork Ribs, Country Skillet Corn and Three Cheese Mashed Potatoes. This week we are having an “Italian Dinner Party” with Chunky Eggplant Bruschetta, Tomatoes Napoleon, Kale Pesto & 4 Cheese Pasta, and Chicken Parmesan Paninis.Menu for the Week Pizza / Grilled Pepper Sauce & Fiesta Rice Salad Two Mustard Chicken with Cilantro & Corn Salad Apple Bourbon Pork Loin with Potato Mushroom Casserole Dessert: Grilled Bourbon Peaches with Vanilla Ice Cream
