For those of you who don’t know or can’t tell I love to entertain.
Whether it is a small intimate family dinner, a themed Supper Club dinner, or a fun Holiday party.
John’s parents and Grandmother joined us for dinner recently and I
got very excited because just by adding some yellow roses and using my new
wicker chargers from Pottery Barn, I was able to create an intimate setting in
our dining room. It’s simple but little things like family dinners and décor
get me excited!
This weekend our friends Michael and Samantha came up from
Tuscaloosa. When Michael and John were living down in Auburn and Sam & I
would come in town we always had dinner parties together which became
our Supper Club. We had a Mexican themed party this weekend just like
our first one. I even got a little carried away and created a menu for
our five course meal.

I found a quote in a magazine recently that describes me “It
didn’t take long for me to learn that my heart was endeared to small
intimate gatherings, those that are defined by good food, great friends and honest conversation.”
