Sometimes all you need in life is a good tall glass of refreshing water.
I know what you are thinking. Water? Really? But trust me. Even though I am known to enjoy my glass of wine. This water is actually far superior. And of course healthier.
I need a vacation. Does anyone else feel that way? Now that spring is here the weather is just perfect for it. And sometimes when a vacation can’t happen a few moments alone (no husband, no kids, no dogs) in the backyard with a refreshing drink will work out just fine.
First I couldn’t decide what I wanted to call this drink. It has cucumbers, limes, and herbs but that got too wordy so I just made it simple. The name actually makes me think of our old address in Indy – we lived on Refreshing Garden Lane and almost every other street had a small pond which was neat. We had this beautiful area in our back yard. Don’t miss the small backyard but I do miss the pond and the pergola we would sit out under.
So time to vacate to the backyard with this drink. Come join me! And I’ll also whip up my new Spring Vegetable Pizza too (coming atcha next week).

I love cucumber water – it makes me feel as though I’m in a spa for a massage (dreaming of that right now).
