Remember my cherry almond smoothie? Well I told you I have been on a drink fix lately so bare with me but I have another you can’t resist. I think my all time favorite combination is cranberry orange. Mama got me hooked on the muffins growing up, so anytime I go into a bakery of some kind and I see some sort of pastry or baked good I have to have it.
I got the idea to try to make my favorite combo a smoothie. For the base I started with some Trop 50 which has 50% less sugar and calories (which is always a plus). Then added some good ol’ Greek yogurt and flax seed, some frozen cranberries and bananas to balance the acidity and voila another yummy and healthy treat!
