I have had a little bit of writer’s block lately which is a problem. I have wonderful recipes & beautiful pictures for a Cucumber Tomato Salad, Lasagna, Shrimp Noodle Bowl, Bacon Cheddar Chive Waffles and Caprese Pesto Sandwich but the words are just not flowing lately so bare with me.
I love dressings and sauces. I used to be that kid who had blue cheese dressing with everything and then ranch with everything. Okay let’s be honest occasionally I still like ranch with some pizza. But sauces and dressings can literally make or break a dish. Since we have been trying to eat a little healthier in our house I thought why not try to make some of our own dressings that don’t have a ton of unnecessary calories. The two things I have not been able to get enough of lately are honey mustard dressing and this simple balsamic vinaigrette. The perfect combination of sweet and tangy!
