Murphy’s Law – Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.

IMG_8352

I know what you’re thinking – it’s Saturday why post a Friday Feedings today? Revert back to Murphy’s law – technology problems, toddler problems, and pregnancy problems. Plain and simple. So happy Friday Feedings a day late…

This kid is so adorable and sweet it’s ridiculous, but he is definitely a stinker. We are battling pushing boundaries right now, so things are a little interesting in our house. And the worst part is once you get onto him for something he either cries hysterically which you feel bad for (but then most likely does it again), or he does something you give him the “you’re about to get in trouble look” and he cuddles with you. Oh I am in for it!

Pregnancy Update: I can’t believe the final countdown has begun – no not until college football – but for sweet Amelia May to get here. Less than 4 weeks can you believe it? The one thing I have said again and again is how much I love being pregnant and nesting – it at least gives me an excuse for all my madness. I mean who cares if your tools are organized before the baby comes? Obviously I do!

But when you are this pregnant you know you are waddling like a penguin and can’t help it and all the other pregnancy woes that come in the final weeks. Don’t know what I am talking about? Then please watch this parody it’s hilarious for those even without kids!

Chocolate Crunch Bars with Bourbon Caramel Sauce

My Kitchen: The downside with pregnancy coming to an end is my sweet tooth might be as well. Our home has been filled with Raspberry Peach Crisp, Apple Pear Crisp, Bourbon Balls, and Chocolate Crunch Bars with Bourbon Caramel Sauce. Have you made any desserts I should try out before I get off this sugar train?

And if I am not baking sweets. I have been devouring this Hot Swiss Dip from Kristen Sollenne’s new cookbook. Stay tuned next week for this recipe and my first ever giveaway!

Basically though we are just getting ready for Amelia. I guess you could say I am over summer and ready for the fall. Anyone else with me…crickets crickets….
